System Administrator – Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Specialism: System Administration Contract Duration: Until 30 June 2026 with extension possibility Location: Canberra – Harman Clearance: NV2 or above Role Overview Our federal client is seeking an experienced System Administrator with expert‑level knowledge in Windows System Administration and strong familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This role requires a recognised specialist who can provide definitive advice, consolidate expertise from multiple sources, and support organisational objectives within a critical cyber environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain expert‑level knowledge in one or more identifiable specialisms. Provide authoritative advice in specialist areas and oversee advice provided by others. Consolidate expertise from multiple sources, including third‑party experts, to deliver coherent recommendations. Promote and support the development and sharing of specialist knowledge within the organisation. Expert‑level knowledge of Windows System Administration; Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience highly desirable. Demonstrated experience with Identity Access Management (CIAM, Active Directory, IPA). Proven ability in Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance. Hands‑on experience with automation technologies. Familiarity with virtualisation and containerisation technologies. Minimum 5–8 years of experience supporting Active Directory and IPA operations and engineering, with increasing responsibility. Why Join Us?
