System Administrator – CanberraGovernment & Defence Projects - Onsite Role - 12+ Month EngagementKJR is looking for a System Administrator to join our growing Canberra team, supporting high-impact programs across the government and defence sectors.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in secure, complex environments and is passionate about keeping systems running smoothly, securely, and at scale.Your RoleSupport and maintain server infrastructure, networks, and system applications Ensure compliance with security protocols and governance requirements Monitor and troubleshoot performance, availability, and incident response Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to support system deployments and upgrades Document system configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions You BringProven experience as a System Administrator within government, defence, or similarly regulated environments Strong understanding of Windows and/or Linux server environments Experience managing cloud or hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, etc.) Familiarity with Active Directory, group policy, networking, and patch management Knowledge of Defence security clearance processes (NV1/NV2 preferred) Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Why Join KJR?At KJR, we’ve been delivering tech assurance to some of Australia’s most critical programs for over 25 years.
