Overview Provide a clean, hygienic and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. Master Licence No.: ISLHD $32.10 per hour + 12% super & salary packaging | Various Casual, Permanent and Temporary Full Time and Part Time | Illawarra Hospital Group | REQ | Applications close: 18 January 2026 (this is a rolling recruitment; applications will be reviewed regularly) Responsibilities Cleaning duties including cleaning of rooms, equipment and utensils, reporting any damage, and emptying and replacing soiled linen to ensure the patient and hospital environment remains clean, safe and attractive. Provide patient-focused care, such as assisting with patient personal hygiene, mobility, pre-operative shaves and report any observations or concerns about the patient. Undertake security duties, as directed, including both preventative and responsive security actions aimed at ensuring a secure and safe environment for staff, patients and visitors. Qualifications and requirements Physical Screening Assessment is a mandatory component of the selection for this position. Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role. Working With Children Check (WWCC). Hold a current Class 1A NSW Security Licence, current First Aid Certificate and a current valid Class C Driver's Licence.
