Our client, a successful national insurance group, well-respected for delivering qualityproducts and a high standard of service to brokers with a very happy positive team environment. This is fantastic opportunity for a junior underwriter (or assistant underwriter ready to step up) with the drive and aptitude to underwrite and continue developing a highly profitable construction portfolio. You will enjoy building strong relationships with large suburban & international brokers and underwriting a diverse portfolio of interesting risks. With full support from team administrators, it will allow you to focus on the retention and development of your portfolio, working closely with broker partners and various internal and external stakeholders, meet with your brokers and attend various conferences and expo’s, work closely with the claims team and assist with the ongoing development of rating guidelines. The successful candidate can look forward to building a high profile for themselves with plenty of broker meetings / functions, ongoing training, whilst writing very interesting property and liability construction risks, no red tape or politics, working alongside a great leadership team, with plenty of internal support and autonomy, attractive staff benefits and a positive and social team environment. To secure this exciting new role, you will need 2-3 years underwriting experience (or construction broking experience), well-developed relationship building skills, exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, professional presentation, willingness to meet brokers, excellent problem solving skills, team player attitude, high work ethic and attention to detail. #J-18808-Ljbffr
