Executive Manager, AI Strategy, Partnerships & Portfolio The Executive Manager for AI Strategy & Portfolio leads the definition and management of the enterprise AI strategy and roadmap, ensuring that AI investments and initiatives are strategically aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable value. This role provides strategic leadership in the assessment of AI opportunities and portfolio governance. The role ensures the AI agenda remains forward‑looking, evidence‑based, and integrated with broader enterprise strategy. Key Responsibilities Partner with strategy teams across the Group to align AI strategy, delivery, and adoption activities. Engage with relevant teams to integrate AI initiatives into enterprise strategic and investment planning. Coordinate with Finance to manage investment prioritisation, funding requests, and benefits realisation tracking. Oversee AI use case assessment and prioritisation processes, ensuring that the AI portfolio reflects the organisation’s strategic objectives. Lead the development and annual refresh of the Enterprise AI Strategy and Roadmap, ensuring endorsement through governance forums. Establish and manage strategic partnerships with external AI ecosystem participants to access talent, technologies and innovation opportunities. Maintain and update the AI Portfolio Register, aligning all initiatives to business value and capability maturity levels. Facilitate AI strategy scanning forums and future‑focused workshops to guide enterprise AI direction and identify emerging opportunities. Define and lead the development of reporting frameworks that ensure accuracy, transparency and actionable insights, enabling the identification of innovation opportunities that inform strategic AI investment and decision‑making. By executing these responsibilities, you will ensure the successful acceleration of AI initiatives across the group, helping to deliver measurable impact at scale. About You Proven relationship‑building and leadership skills with the ability to influence at the Executive level, both inside and outside CommBank. Extensive experience in strategic planning and portfolio governance. Strong commercial and financial acumen. Understanding of enterprise architecture and AI technology landscape is desirable. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong problem‑solving and analytical mindset to identify and solve group‑wide business problems. Ability to translate strategic ambition into an actionable, measurable AI portfolio that both accelerates enterprise value and enables innovation. Balance strategic foresight with operational discipline—defining clear priorities, ensuring transparent and accurate reporting, and continuously identifying opportunities for AI‑driven differentiation across the Group.
