Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. Responsibilities Set up a room with tables and chairs for quiz sessions. Assist in bringing residents together. Announce the quiz questions. Category Seniors & Aged Care Commitment Regular – more than 6 months. One afternoon a week or fortnight for 6 months or longer, Monday‑Friday between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Type of Work Companionship & Social Support, Seniors & Aged Care Training Training is provided as well as ongoing support by a local Volunteer Coordinator.
