Overview Are you passionate about creating a safe, sustainable, and positive workplace? Join IFF’s Safety Team as our next EHS Coordinator at the Dandenong South site. This is a hands-on, dynamic role covering risk assessments, chemical management, safety training, and sustainability programs. You’ll have autonomy and support to make an impact. What You’ll Be Doing Drive the success of our Safety & Environmental Management Systems (SMS & EMS) Lead risk assessments across plant, manual handling, and processes Manage incident and injury reporting with a focus on prevention and continuous improvement Deliver engaging safety training and empower employees to own safety every day Champion the Safety Committee, working with HSRs and leaders across shifts Keep our Chemical Safety Management System compliant and up-to-date Lead site inspections and audits to meet ISO standards and WorkSafe compliance Lead sustainability initiatives from waste reduction to recycling What You’ll Bring Cert IV in WHS / OHS (minimum requirement) Background in manufacturing or warehousing (a big plus) Experience with chemical safety and/or occupational hygiene (air, noise, dust, ergonomics) is highly regarded Familiarity with ISO standards and Australian EHS legislation Confidence in managing workers’ comp and return-to-work programs (preferred) Tech-savvy with solid MS Office skills A proactive communicator with a positive, team-first attitude Why Join IFF?
