Reporting directly to the EHS Manager, this full-time EHS Coordinator position at breadsolutions' is responsible for implementing and maintaining the company's comprehensive environmental, health and safety programs. As the EHS Coordinator, you will play a vital role in promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and contributing to the overall wellbeing and protection of our employees. What you’ll be doing Developing, implementing and monitoring environmental, health and safety policies, procedures and training programs Conducting workplace inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations to identify and mitigate potential hazards Maintaining accurate records and reports related to all EHS activities, including injury/illness data and regulatory compliance Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on EHS best practices Coordinating and participating in emergency response planning and drills Collaborating with external authorities and auditors to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance Promoting a positive safety culture through effective communication, training and employee engagement initiatives Assisting with Return to Work, Injury and Claims Management What we’re looking for Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field Minimum 3 years’ experience in an EHS Coordinator or similar role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry Strong working knowledge of relevant OH&S legislation, regulations and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels Proficient in data analysis, report writing and Microsoft Office applications Proven track record in developing and implementing successful EHS programs Highly organised, detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement About us breadsolutions' is a leading manufacturer of high-quality bread and bakery products, serving customers across Australia.
