Physiotherapist – Orthopaedics (Grade 2) Join The Royal Children’s Hospital to apply for the Physiotherapist – Orthopaedics (Grade 2) role. About the Role This is a fixed‑term, part‑time position covering two parental leave posts until late March 2026 (0.2 FTE/15.2 hrs per fortnight) and late May 2026 (0.6 FTE/45.6 hrs per fortnight) within the Physiotherapy Department. You will work in the orthopaedic stream, primarily in spinal surgery and may be allocated to other orthopaedic areas. Classification ranges from VB1 to VB4 (base salary $90,235–$103,724 FTE per annum plus superannuation). What You’ll Achieve Provide clinical care, advice, and education in line with evidence‑based guidelines. Prioritise your caseload and that of junior staff to ensure timely physiotherapy services. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver best care for children and families. Plan and implement personal and professional development strategies. Your Skills and Experience Hold a physiotherapy degree and registration with AHPRA. Experience in an acute tertiary and/or paediatric environment. Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills. Relevant clinical experience in the orthopaedic physiotherapy stream.
