The Role As our Technology Lead, you will drive the technology strategy and delivery across the business. This role combines leading our automation and AI journey by ensuring our systems, platforms, and processes are efficient, future-ready, and hands‑on BAU systems troubleshooting, vendor management, and cyber‑security oversight. Key Responsibilities Identify and build new technology solutions and / or improve existing technology solutions across both backend and customer‑facing platforms, using automation and AI to create efficiencies, drive innovation and improve customer and team experience. Drive the adoption of GenAI tools and practices, upskilling and coaching the team to create intelligent solutions that support and streamline their work. Partner with our global US‑based master company on future technology initiatives, contributing to build, pilots, rollouts, and ongoing continuous improvement. Lead the development and execution of the organisation's cyber‑security strategy, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory and industry requirements. Ensure future‑proofing through the development of the technology BCP plan. Manage outsourced IT vendor, ensuring delivery of SLAs and maintaining strong partnerships. Act as an escalation point for our offshore Member Solutions Team (network) and Outsourced IT vendor (support office), troubleshooting and recommending solutions for technology‑related issues for our network or within support office. Develop and maintain technology policies, processes, and guide approach to procurement of equipment. Experience & About You Technical Ability Proven experience in technology enablement, automation, and BAU tech management in a fast‑paced, delivery‑focused, hands‑on organisation. Advanced capability in designing and building workflow automation. Advanced capability integrating AI / LLM workflows into systems (e.g., GenAI, CoPilot). Knowledge of cyber‑security frameworks and compliance requirements. Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, apps, and platforms. Experience managing outsourced IT vendors and ensuring SLA compliance. Ability to lead projects independently and work collaboratively in a small, agile team.
