About the role Reporting to the Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising Salesforce solutions while utilising DevOps best practices to streamline deployment processes. This role combines advanced Salesforce development expertise with hands-on CI/CD experience to ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable delivery of business solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and declarative tools Participate in architectural decisions and provide technical input on system design and integration approaches Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of Salesforce solutions Establish and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality and system reliability Mentor junior developers on Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, and professional growth Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and integration platforms Work with systems such as Jitterbit, and other enterprise applications to ensure seamless data flow Establish and enforce coding standards, development processes, and testing methodologies Skills & experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 5+ years of proven experience in Salesforce development with strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Platform, and Salesforce APIs Proficiency with source control systems and collaborative development workflows Experience with Salesforce DX, SFDX CLI, and modern Salesforce development tooling Knowledge of integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware platforms Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences Why work for HomeRepair? 20 weeks paid parental leave for the primary carer 1 x wellness day per year Modern office facilities with access to a free gym onsite Breakfast, snacks, fruit, tea and coffee provided Access to ongoing training and professional development Employee Assistance Program to support health and wellbeing Thisrole will be subject to a successful National Police Check.
