The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Canterbury Area Toy Library. Canterbury Toy Library is situated in a beautiful new space at the Canterbury Community Precinct and experienced a remarkable year of growth. We’re looking for volunteers to help us at our increasingly busy Saturday morning sessions. The particular focus of this role will involve assisting with loans supported by one of our staff members and working alongside other volunteers. Tasks and Responsibilities Using a computer or tablet to assist with loans Assisting the Coordinator with general tasks as needed Skills and Experience Good concentration skills Enjoy working as part of a team Be friendly and reliable Benefits Meet new people and become part of a friendly and supportive team Potential to learn new skills that match your interests or contribute your skills to a project Become an active part of the local community supporting young families Please note applicants must be 18+ for this volunteer role. This role will require you to be available Saturday mornings.
