Do you have 1.5 hours available Saturday mornings? Our Toy Library is a not for profit service, offering quality toys suited to 0-6 years old to loan to the community for over 30 years We are open 9:30-11am every Saturday morning, where the space is filled with local families excited to select their new toys to loan. The hall is warm in winter and has a great outlook over Dudley Hartree Park. We are looking for reliable and friendly volunteers who can commit to one Saturday a month (or more) to help with various duties, including counting, checking and sorting toys. You will be trained and work with a toy library supervisor at each session. The Saturdays you volunteer are flexible and you can select what Saturdays you work to suit your calendar and ours. This would be a great initiative for an individual/s keen to be involved with a fantastic community and help keep this incredible service going. You could work with a friend and would be able to loan some toys free of charge.
