The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of The Kew Toy Library. Are you a super hero that would be able to save kids from boredom and parents from tantrums? Join a tight-knit community of volunteers and members who are committed to improving the Kew Toy Library as a Toy Library Assistant. Tasks and Responsibilities The super hero will assist the Coordinator by: Loaning toys to members via our database Answering the phone Other tasks that can be done when quiet are: Reuniting missing parts Assisting members with finding toys Helping members take toys out to their cars when needed Scanning and laminating instruction sheets Tidying the shelves Cataloguing new toys Skills and Experience Be friendly and helpful to our member families Have super communication skills Be computer literate Ability to pay attention to detail - they can even be super tidy. Category Family Services Commitment Regular - more than 6 months Type of Work Childcare, Library Services Time Required Saturdays 9:30am – 12:30pm and/or 11:45am – 2:30pm Training Initial induction will be with our President and Coordinator.
