Performance Marketing Specialist – eCommerce (B2C) Independence Australia – a social enterprise delivering healthcare products and disability-support programs. About the Role We are seeking an experienced performance marketer to own paid media across Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube with a focus on new‑customer acquisition for our B2C eCommerce brand. What You’ll Be Doing New Customer Acquisition – execute and optimise campaigns focused on acquiring high‑value first‑time buyers while balancing efficiency (nCAC, ROAS, nMER). Profitability & Scale – analyse what drives profitability and scale in B2C eCommerce and translate insights to optimisation. Google Campaign Management – plan, build, and optimise Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube campaigns. Feed & Data Management – maintain Magento product feeds for accurate data in Google Merchant Center. Performance Optimisation – monitor daily performance, adjust bids, budgets, and targeting for profitable growth. Business Metrics – track and connect key eCommerce metrics (CAC, LTV, MER, contribution margin, payback period) to campaign results. Creative & Testing – collaborate with creative teams to brief and test ad copy and creative that resonate with new audiences. Reporting & Insights – build dashboards and report on acquisition performance using Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and Looker Studio. Cross‑Team Collaboration – work closely with the Performance Marketing Manager, eCommerce and retention teams to align acquisition with product launches and trading cycles. About You 3–5 years of hands‑on performance marketing experience, ideally in a B2C eCommerce brand. Proven track record of running campaigns that drive new‑customer growth. Deep understanding of how eCommerce businesses grow profitably and scale, and which metrics matter most. Strong expertise in Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMax, YouTube) and Google Merchant Center. Skilled in Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and campaign attribution models. Familiarity with Magento feeds, campaign tracking, and promotional cycles. Detail‑oriented with a strong eye for accuracy in campaign setup, data, and reporting. Creative thinker who turns product and customer insights into high‑performing acquisition campaigns. Excellent communicator who thrives in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional team.
