The Commercial Manager is responsible for driving Plaza Premium Group’s commercial strategy across Oceania by strengthening sales and distribution capabilities with airline and travel partners. This role focuses on identifying growth opportunities, retaining key accounts, and building sustainable, high-value commercial relationships while supporting revenue management and regional product strategy. JOB DESCRIPTION Drive and execute Plaza Premium Group’s commercial sales and distribution strategy across Oceania for airline and travel partners, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and market expansion. Identify, qualify, and develop new commercial opportunities across channels and markets to support short and long-term regional growth. Strengthen and enhance sales distribution infrastructure to build a scalable, sustainable commercial foundation across the network. Develop, manage, and implement pricing strategies, inventory frameworks, and revenue management methodologies to support dynamic pricing, yield optimisation, and commercial efficiency. Manage pricing structures and governance policies to ensure consistency and maximise overall network profitability. Maintain a structured commercial pipeline, providing accurate forecasting, performance tracking, and actionable insights to support strategic planning. Oversee and manage assigned airline and travel partner accounts to ensure alignment with agreed commercial targets, service standards, and operational KPIs. Monitor account health, identify performance gaps, risks, and commercial opportunities, and implement corrective or growth-focused action plans. Design and execute retention strategies to strengthen partner loyalty, minimise churn, and ensure long-term account sustainability. Identify and pursue upselling, cross-selling, and expansion opportunities within existing partner portfolios to drive incremental revenue. Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with airline partners, travel trade stakeholders, and distribution partners. Act as a trusted commercial representative of Plaza Premium Group, ensuring partners feel supported, aligned, and engaged. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure effective partner engagement and seamless service delivery. Lead and deliver regular business reviews with partners, including performance updates, opportunity analysis, and strategic alignment discussions. Develop, monitor, and analyse commercial dashboards and performance reports to track revenue trends, partner performance, and commercial KPIs. Provide regular insights, data analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support commercial decision-making and planning. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of commercial data, reporting, and forecasting. JOB REQUIREMENTS Proven experience in a commercial, sales, or account management role. Strong expertise in business growth, partner management, and strategic planning. Experience in aviation, hospitality, or travel industry is highly desirable. Commercial Manager – Oceania Experience in pricing strategy, channel management, and revenue optimisation. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical ability with experience in forecasting and performance reporting. High integrity, professionalism, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
