Electrical & Control Systems Engineer

As a leading innovator in Industrial Automation and Control Systems and service provider to Tier 1 clients, we are seeking a talented Electrical and Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to groundbreaking projects. You will participate in the entire life cycle of projects including consulting, estimating, design, configuration, programming, commissioning, testing, and training. Key Responsibilities Perform project engineering support to the business Design and develop PLC and SCADA for various projects Electrical, instrumentation, and network design, drawing creation, and modification Develop and configure intelligent devices and network devices (switch, router, firewall) Create engineering documentation Collaborate with the team to innovate solutions for various industries Site commissioning and end‑client site support Essential Requirements Prior experience in PLC Programming (Schneider Electric Unity Pro/Control Expert, GE/Emerson PAC ME) Prior experience in SCADA Programming (AVEVA PlantSCADA, GE Cimplicity) Prior experience in Intelligent Device Programming (Industrial Protocol Gateway/Drives/Protection Relay/network switches) Prior experience in instrumentation configuration (level/density/pressure/temperature/flow) Prior experience in fieldbus configuration and troubleshooting (Profibus, ProfiNet, DeviceNet, Modbus) Prior experience in electrical and control systems design, commissioning, and site support Minimum of 3–4 years’ experience in electrical and control systems design and/or up to 10 years of site operations Professional skill using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Visio) Candidates must have appropriate work authorisation to work in Australia Advantageous Skills PLC Programming (Rs Logix 5000/Logix Designer 5000/PlantPAX, Step 7/PCS 7, CodeSys, PLCNext) Prior experience in SCADA Programming (Wonderware, RsView/FT View, WinCC) Prior experience in modification and review of electrical and P&ID drawings (Microstation, AutoCAD) Prior experience in project management (Microsoft Project) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (VBA Automation) Python, Java, and C/C++/C# programming skills Virtualisation/Hypervisor (vSphere and Hyper‑V) Success Criteria Enjoy problem solving Highly motivated to self‑learn Experience in industrial environment (mining/power/water/utilities) Strong verbal and written communication skills Flexible working situation (travel to site, flexible hours, etc.) The role requires occasional site travel with flexibility for project requirements Current Driver's License (C Class) Engineering degree Benefits Yearly official training courses Flexible working arrangements Generous remuneration Performance‑based bonus Various clients and sites exposure Multicultural and diverse workplace #J-18808-Ljbffr
