Overview Electrical Foreman – Correction Centre Project, north of Brisbane . Our client is a leading Tier One contractor with a reputation for excellence in large‑scale construction projects. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team on this high‑profile correction centre project. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team and play a critical role in the successful delivery of a major infrastructure development. Responsibilities Leading and managing a team of electricians, apprentices and labourers. Interpreting and implementing project plans, schematics and specifications. Overseeing the installation of all electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, security systems and data networks. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety , in strict compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations. Conducting regular safety talks and inspections to maintain a safe working environment. Managing project timelines and budgets and coordinating with other trades and the site management team. Identifying and resolving on‑site issues and providing technical guidance to the team. Maintaining accurate daily logs, progress reports and "as‑built" drawings. Qualifications Current and valid Electrical Licence. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a leading hand or foreman on commercial or industrial projects, with experience on secure or institutional sites highly regarded. Exceptional knowledge of the NEC, local building codes and safety standards. Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics and technical documents. A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Benefits EBA rates with site allowance.
