About the Opportunity Tokio Marine is currently seeking 2x Compliance Officers to support the team in promoting and embedding compliance practices across the business. Responsibilities Support and drive key compliance initiatives, including contributing towards the annual Compliance Plan and second line assurance program. Perform compliance activities including conducting due diligence reviews, overseeing incident and breach management, performing sanctions screening and monitoring adherence to regulatory obligations under ASIC, APRA and other relevant regulatory frameworks. Oversee the process for identifying and managing perceived, potential and actual conflicts of interest. Develop, implement and maintain compliance policies, procedures and frameworks. Support the team to execute governance, assurance and remediation activities, including conducting control testing and reviews of product design, sales practices and claims handling. Prepare relevant compliance reports for Senior Management and the Board. Provide compliance advice and training to staff across the Business. Coordinate incident response activities, including investigation, root cause analysis, breach assessment and reporting obligations, implementation of corrective actions and preventive controls. Conduct due diligence and compliance reviews for marketing collateral, business communications and product documents such as the PDS, FSG and TMD. About You Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Law or an associated discipline as well as the RG 146 qualification. 3+ years of demonstrated compliance experience in the financial services or insurance industry. Working knowledge of the regulatory framework in Australia and key legislation and industry codes, including the Corporations Act, Insurance Contracts Act, Privacy Act, GICOP and relevant ASIC regulatory guides. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify trends and solve business problems from a compliance lens. Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are understood and met. Experience with compliance monitoring tools and breach management systems, such as Protecht and Lexis Nexis, is highly regarded.
