About the Role Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating closely with the Gaming Compliance Officer, this position is critical in guiding the Club to meet its legislative, regulatory, and governance obligations. You’ll develop and maintain risk and compliance frameworks, conduct internal audits, and provide expert advice to the Executive and Board. Key responsibilities include: Developing and managing risk and compliance frameworks and policies. Monitoring and interpreting NSW and Federal legislation across gaming, liquor, WHS, privacy, and food safety. Conducting internal audits, preparing reports, and advising on regulatory matters. Supporting the Board and Executive with governance documentation and compliance reporting. Providing guidance and training to embed compliance practices across the organisation. About You You’re an organised, analytical, and proactive professional with a strong understanding of corporate compliance and risk management. You thrive on ensuring best practice, championing transparency, and keeping organisations ahead of change. Our ideal candidate has: A qualification in Business, Law, or Risk Management (or equivalent). Proven experience developing and implementing risk frameworks. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. A sound understanding of AS/NZS ISO:31000 Risk Management Standard. Excellent report writing, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
