Position Profile Provides professional leadership, governance, coordination and management of Occupational Therapy services at Bunbury Hospital and community across all clinical areas and programmes in accordance with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct and Registration Standards, and WACHS South West policies and guidelines. Manages Occupational Therapy staff under the Director Allied Health, coordinates duties and manages performance to ensure the delivery of efficient, effective and high‑quality Occupational Therapy services. Provides professional support regionally on the planning and implementation of strategic workforce initiatives, teaching, training and research opportunities. Eligibility to Apply Applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed‑term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments). Other Conditions WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity check as part of the appointment process. Applicants may also be required to undertake a Working With Children check (if required for the role) and a pre‑employment health assessment. Referees may be asked to comment on integrity and ethical behaviour. Adverse information does not necessarily disqualify an applicant but will be considered as part of the appointment process. This vacancy is subject to a Western Australian Working With Children (WWC) Check. This recruitment process requires completion of a satisfactory Pre‑Employment Health Assessment (PEHA). Any offer of employment with WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is conditional on satisfactory PEHA. An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in withdrawal of the offer.
