Head of Department Occupational Therapy Salary : HSO Level P3 $135,972 - $140,644 (plus 12% superannuation) Location : Bunbury Unit / Division : WACHS - South West > Bunbury Hospital Allied Health Work Type : Fixed Term - Full Time Position No : Closing Date : 4 : 00 PM Attachments : Position Profile : Provides professional leadership, governance, coordination and management of Occupational Therapy services at Bunbury Hospital and Community across all clinical areas and programs in accordance with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct and Registration Standards, and WACHS South West policies and guidelines. Manages Occupational Therapy staff, under the Director Allied Health, at Bunbury Hospital and Community services; coordinates duties and manages performance to ensure the delivery of efficient, effective and high-quality Occupational Therapy services. Provides professional support regionally on the planning and implementation of strategic workforce initiatives, teaching, training and research opportunities. Eligibility to Apply : To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments). As well as undertaking a criminal record screening and integrity checking, you may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in the offer of employment being withdrawn. Please see the attached WACHS PEHA Policy for further this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision. This is a Fixed Term opportunity while the substantive occupant is on a period of Parental Leave.
