An exciting opportunity exists in our Statutory Compensation Management group for a full-time Paralegal. This fast‑paced role involves supporting our team in Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and WorkCover Victoria matters. Key Responsibilities High‑volume file management (opening, closing, and electronic filing) Assisting with day‑to‑day management of litigation files Managing the team's court diary and distributing daily court lists Preparing and filing court documents Rounds duties, including offsite copying Supporting conciliations, directions hearings, and tribunal appearance Conducting legal research and preparing correspondence Liaising with clients, counsel, and tribunal staff Other ad‑hoc duties as required What You Need Essential: Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to multi‑task, work autonomously, and manage conflicting priorities Sound file management skills and commitment to delivering quality work Strong MS Office proficiency Self‑motivated team player with initiative Ability to work under pressure in a collaborative environment Desirable: Knowledge of Victorian workers' compensation legislation (Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013) and/or Transport Accident Act 1986 Experience in insurance and/or claims management, personal injuries litigation, or HR/IR Exposure to tribunal or court processes How to Apply We encourage applications from people of all ages, abilities, cultural backgrounds, genders (including trans or gender diverse), LGBTQ+ people and those with carer responsibilities.
