Eastern Melbourne Earthworks is a local excavation and retaining wall company servicing the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, focusing on quality work, reliable service and good people. We build concrete sleeper retaining walls, residential excavations and run small machinery. We are growing and looking for someone who wants long term steady work and a chance to build real skills. About the role: This role is hands on and physical. Work involves labouring and the full process of building retaining walls and working around small machines. If you show a good attitude and work ethic you will have the chance to learn machine operation and grow in the business. Day to day work includes: Helping build concrete sleeper and timber sleeper walls Digging holes and preparing sites Using hand tools and basic power tools Working with excavators and skid steers Keeping a safe and tidy site What we are looking for: Strong work ethic Enjoys physical outdoor work Can follow direction and communicate clearly Reliable transport and licence Able to work full time Nice to have but not required: Some construction or landscaping experience Desire to learn excavation and wall building Interest in growing with the business Pay and conditions Full time casual to start with ongoing work Pay range is between $35 to $50 per hour depending on experience Regular work across the eastern suburbs Chance to learn machinery and progress in the company How to apply Please apply with a short message that includes: We are looking for someone who wants long term steady work and is ready to learn.
