IT Service Desk Technician (L2) This range is provided by Kaliba. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Location: Sydney (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) Overview Join a dynamic support team delivering Level 2 IT support to a broad client base. You'll provide remote and onsite support, resolve technical issues, and work closely with senior engineers to ensure a high standard of service delivery. This role combines hands-on problem-solving with strong client communication. Key Responsibilities Respond to and manage support tickets via phone and ticketing systems. Provide Level 1/2 remote and onsite support for desktops, servers, and infrastructure. Perform scheduled maintenance and urgent onsite visits as needed. Collaborate with senior engineers on escalations and projects. Maintain clear documentation and update internal knowledgebase. Participate in rotating rosters, including after-hours support. Ensure compliance with internal processes and industry standards. Skills & Experience IT qualifications or relevant certifications. Strong experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft 365. Working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs). Experience with Windows Server, virtualisation (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware). Familiarity with switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure. Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
