Junior Designer – Active, Outerwear

Overview Location: Sydney, NSW. Reports to: Senior Designers. At P.E Nation, we’re inspired by movement, modern streetwear, and the rhythm of active living. We’re seeking a Junior Designer to join our creative studio and expanding team. Someone with a passion for design, a strong eye for detail, and the drive to grow within a fast-paced fashion environment. This role will work closely with our Senior Designers, supporting across Activewear, Outerwear, and Lifestyle categories. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative team where creativity and commercial understanding go hand in hand. Key Responsibilities Assist Senior Designers in developing seasonal collections across Active, Outerwear, and Lifestyle categories. Create and update technical CAD drawings, mood boards, and presentation materials. Support in the research of trends, fabrics, trims, and colours relevant to the P.E Nation aesthetic. Help maintain design files, style numbers, and design documentation in line with the seasonal critical path. Participate in fit sessions and support with sample management from Proto to PP stages. Collaborate closely with Product Development and Garment Tech teams to ensure design intent is executed through to production. Contribute creative ideas in team design meetings and help bring seasonal concepts to life. What We’re Looking For Tertiary qualification in Fashion Design or a related field. Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills, with a keen eye for proportion, silhouette, and construction. A team-oriented mindset. You thrive in a collaborative, high-energy studio. Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail. A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn, evolve, and grow within the brand.
