Job Description We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven leader to join our Digital Transformation team to manage and elevate our strategic technology vendor partnerships and commercial contracting. In this high-impact role, you will lead commercial negotiations and contract execution. Working with technology and business leaders across Nine, you will play a critical role in helping deliver on our ambitious technology roadmap by building strong commercial partnerships with our vendors. Day to day you will: Develop and Champion Strategic Partnerships : Design and execute a strategic vendor management framework to deepen high-impact, long-term partnerships with our most critical technology providers. Drive Commercial Innovation & Value : Proactively engage with business and technology leaders and key vendors to identify and implement innovative commercial models to unlock business value for Nine. Strategic Business Reviews : Orchestrate timely business reviews and alignment sessions to ensure vendor roadmaps align with, and enable, our long-term business strategy. Market Intelligence & Strategic Consulting : Serve as the expert commercial consultant, providing actionable advice on technology pricing, benchmarks, and best-in-class commercial structures to inform and shape a multi-year technology roadmaps. Commercial Negotiation : Lead and execute high-value commercial negotiations across our core technology categories. Contract Structuring : Deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and risk mitigation through optimisation of licensing structures and consumption models. Commercial Governance & Cross-Functional Alignment : Act as the central commercial owner for technology contracting, coordinating deal execution across Legal, Finance, Security, and Compliance teams. Qualifications What you’ll bring: Commercial acumen : Extensive experience in technology procurement and commercial negotiation, including contract and licensing structures, and negotiation strategies. Partnership development : Experience in developing, scaling, and managing strategic vendor relationships that have demonstrably driven business value and innovation. Collaborative Leadership : A natural collaborator with a strategic mindset, capable of coordinating and influencing decision-making among diverse senior stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Cyber, Product, and Technology) in a large, matrixed organisation. Presence and Communication : Outstanding communication, presentation, and executive presence, with the ability to articulate complex commercial strategies and influence executive, business, and technology leaders. Experience in the media, publishing, or ad-tech industry is highly desirable. Additional Information How we work At Nine, our flexible work options vary by role and team.
