We are currently looking to expand on our Sydney team based out of Leumeah. Looking for a junior or developing Crew leader / Forman. About the Role Ability to lead a small 3–4-person crew throughout the day’s installation, following the instructions of the management team. Disciplined and organised, with the ability to complete conforming (within tolerance) installations with little to no defects (rework). Developed communication skills to get most of the crew and liaise with clients on site (face of ECM on site). Develop/educate other members of the field staff, to aid with succession planning. Client communications of a professional level. Ability to read and implement site drawings. And an understanding of site/project programming. Reporting detailed information back to management to ensure adequate invoicing (either works completed, variation or lost time). Understanding of operation profitability and time management. Involvement in basic programming and resource allocation. Responsible for the productivity, quality, and safety of day-to-day field operations. Applies strong problem‑solving skills. Has carried out the successful completion of many projects of different products and scopes. Expert in almost all products and if not has the ability to read drawings, plans and installation manuals to carry it out. Has a strong understanding of the smaller details in quality, tolerances, and installation. Disciplined and organised to complete a project with high quality in a timely manner by motivating themselves and their crew. Has found their professionalism dealing with clients and management. Management has received positive feedback from clients. About you Previous experience in a civil construction leading hand role, ideally across multiple disciplines (pipelines, earthworks, roads) Preferably min 5 years roads and drainage structures Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to interpret plans, project schedules, and specifications White Card + relevant tickets/licenses (excavator, pipe laying, driving license etc.) Sound knowledge of safety standards and QA processes #J-18808-Ljbffr
