The Role We’re seeking an enthusiastic and caring Allied Health Assistant (Occupational Therapy) to join our growing team at Care Squared Kids. We are starting our hiring process now for a February 2026 start date. This is a community‑based position , working under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to support the delivery of therapy programmes for children and families in their everyday environments – homes, schools, and local community settings. Key Responsibilities Work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to support assessments, interventions, and therapy delivery. Implement individualised therapy plans and activities designed by the supervising therapist. Engage positively with children, families, and carers to encourage participation and progress. Prepare resources, materials, and environments for therapy sessions. Maintain accurate notes, records, and communication with therapists and families. Travel within your local area to provide services in community settings. Uphold all clinical governance, safety, and quality standards in line with NDIS requirements. About You Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Allied Health Assistance or currently studying Occupational Therapy (or another relevant allied health discipline). Previous experience supporting Allied Health professionals or working with children (desirable). A genuine passion for helping children and families reach their goals. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Organised, flexible, and able to work independently while part of a supportive team. Valid Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain) and relevant state or territory checks. Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
