Exclaim IT Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Support Administrator to join a large government environment within one of our federal government clients. This role focuses on supporting and enabling users, managing and maintaining data, configuring Salesforce solutions, and delivering ongoing minor enhancements to support critical business operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical leads to understand requirements, support day‑to‑day operations, and ensure Salesforce solutions align with governance, compliance, and best‑practice standards. This role also includes participation in a 24x7 on‑call support roster. Location: ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD. Key Responsibilities Support and enable users to onboard and effectively use Salesforce applications Provide Level 1 and Level 2 Salesforce application support Manage data loading, manipulation, quality, and governance using tools such as Salesforce Data Loader Create and maintain accurate reports and dashboards to meet business needs Assist with workflow optimisation while ensuring compliance with government record‑keeping and classification requirements Support outreach and engagement capabilities within Salesforce Participate in architectural and governance processes to ensure quality and approved releases Perform incident and problem resolution, including P1 and P2 incidents Execute approved data updates in production environments in line with governance and approval requirements Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery testing Deploy changes to production via Azure DevOps in line with release guidance Review and interpret Salesforce debug logs for troubleshooting and validation Perform post‑deployment validation testing and participate in platform release testing Engage as the primary point of contact for Salesforce support enquiries from partner agencies and internal users Participate in a shared on‑call roster (one week per month), including critical operational support Highly Desirable Criteria Minimum 3+ years’ experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 support for Salesforce applications At least one Salesforce certification: Salesforce Administrator, App Builder, or Developer Strong experience with Salesforce data management, reporting, dashboards, and user administration Experience configuring process automation using Salesforce Flows Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug production incidents Experience working with Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, evidence‑based recommendations Minimum NV1 security clearance Ability to attend the Canberra office in person three days per week Experience working in Agile environments using methodologies such as Kanban or Scrum Demonstrated experience managing Salesforce Sandbox refresh activities Experience supporting Salesforce seasonal releases (Winter, Spring, Summer) and advising stakeholders on new features Working knowledge of Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to assist with troubleshooting code‑related issues Skills and Experience Salesforce application support and administration Data analytics and reporting Identity and access management Incident and problem management Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to operate effectively in a regulated, compliance‑driven environment For a confidential chat, please contact Raisa on 0437 318 208 or via email at ‑it.com.au, and we would be more than happy to provide you with additional information and assist in the application process.
