About the role The Inner-City Health Programme provides health services for vulnerable groups of people living in inner-city Sydney, aiming to improve the overall health and well‑being of its target populations and ultimately the broader inner-city community. It is comprised of Drug Health Services (Alcohol & Drug and Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology), Mental Health Services, and Homeless Health Services. It provides specialist services for defined disorders, particularly those related to mental illness, addictions, and physical health conditions associated with adverse lifestyles and living circumstances. As a Nurse Educator you will enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing and other clinical staff working within Inner City Health services. You will be responsible for education portfolios/programmes within Inner City Health and ensure education delivered is current and evidence‑based. About you Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency. Relevant post‑graduate education or clinical qualifications with a Cert IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards). Demonstrated experience as a registered nurse in homeless health, drug health, or mental health. Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate education programmes, using innovative educational strategies, tools and inclusive learning approaches. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team and effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in daily practice as a nurse educator. Why work at St Vincent’s?
