The Role We are currently looking for passionate Domestic Assistants to join our team in Albany. We have permanent part-time roles available, offering flexible working hours, with contracts ranging from a minimum of 20 hours per week, up to 30 hours per week. Our busiest period of care delivery is between Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 3:00pm. If you are available for some, or all of this time period then we would love to hear from you Our Domestic Assistants support clients to undertake domestic tasks in the home such as prescribed within the care/support plan enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence, where possible. Responsibilities include a range of domestic tasks incl. making their beds, ironing, laundry, dusting, vacuuming and mopping the floor, with some social support in the community. Domestic Assistants will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be essential. Servicing the following suburbs (Only successful applicants residing in the above suburbs will be contacted) About You 3-6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience is highly desirable. A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential. Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
