The Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) is pivotal to the coordination of safe patient care, ward management and leadership with an understanding of the 'children first & foremost' philosophy to ensure optimum service delivery. The NUM acts as a leader with advanced role model skills that promote culture and standards that reflect the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
