The NIAA’s Central Australia Region is offering an exceptional opportunity to join our Strategy, Impact & Performance team as the Strategy, Planning and Coordination Senior Officer — a key role supporting the delivery of NIAA priorities and the outcomes of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap at the regional level. As a Strategy, Planning and Coordination Senior Officer, you'll play a critical role in strategic planning, coordination, and projects that drive continuous improvement and deepen understanding of how NIAA efforts are making a difference, driving outcomes that align with the aspirations of communities through the following key responsibilities: lead the preparation and coordination of ministerial briefs, estimates material, and executive‑level correspondence, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery draft strategic narratives that showcase program achievements and community impact work collaboratively with Engagement Teams and partners to collate and coordinate qualitative data and insights to better understand outcomes and learning and inform strategic content development maintain consistency in tone, messaging and structure across all written outputs to uphold Agency standards provide editorial oversight and quality assurance of written outputs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regional priorities contribute to strategic planning and projects across the region The position is based in Alice Springs, working across the Central Australia Region to deliver on the Commonwealth Government's objectives of improving the lives of Indigenous Australians in a place‑based setting. We leverage local knowledge and our stakeholder relationships to create connections between community, private sector and all levels of government to contribute to positive outcomes with Indigenous Australians.
