Base pay range A$80, / yr - A$90, / yr Join a supportive and dynamic brokerage where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional claims outcomes for clients. We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Claims Specialist to manage the full end-to-end claims process across general insurance. As a Claims Specialist, you will act as the central point of contact for clients, insurers, and external stakeholders. You'll manage claims from lodgement through to settlement, provide expert guidance, and ensure clients receive clear communication and high-quality service every step of the way. This role requires a strong technical understanding of insurance claims, excellent time management, and the ability to interpret policy wordings to advocate for the best possible client outcomes. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate end-to-end general insurance claims Accurately lodge, process, and maintain claim files Communicate with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and third parties Interpret policy wordings, exclusions, triggers, and coverage Ensure timely and fair claim settlements Support internal dispute resolution and complaints handling Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures Contribute to continuous improvement and team collaboration About You 2–3 years' experience in insurance claims (brokerage or insurer) Working toward or have completed ANZIIF qualifications Strong understanding of general insurance regulations Professional, client-focused, and solutions-driven Strong communication and organisational skills Committed to ongoing CPD Benefits Monthly team lunch Employee of the Quarter recognition and gifts Monthly "Lunch & Learn" training sessions Friday drinks and snacks once a month from 4pm Casual Fridays Quarterly business updates and presentations Opportunity to be involved in the company's sales strategy Social group for out-of-office activities If you're looking to join a business where you can grow, contribute, and make a meaningful impact for clients, we'd love to hear from you.
