Secondary School Counsellor – Part-time (0.6-0.8 FTE) Immediate Commencement ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Secondary School Counsellor commencing in Term 2, 2025. The role supports student well-being by providing person-centred therapeutic counselling services and referrals; offering emotional-social support to our community as well as conducting small groups for students. This position is part of a well-being team, where there are opportunities for peer supervision and ongoing professional development. ABOUT US Regents Park Christian School is a culturally diverse, K-12 school located in the Sydney metropolitan area. We have been serving families for nearly 50 years and have a current enrolment of over 750 students with plans for future expansion. We are a Christ-centred learning community that seeks to grow students into confident and equipped individuals ready to make a difference in the world. ABOUT YOU Applicants must have: Counselling qualifications as a registered Counsellor or Social Worker with at least 2 years counselling experience. Current registration with a recognised Counselling or Social Work association. Experience and training with children and adolescents from culturally diverse backgrounds and/or with high needs will be highly regarded. The successful applicant must hold a current Working with Children’s Check. Essential: Applicants must be a committed Christian who is able to obtain a reference from their current Protestant Christian church minister.
