Atlas Copco is growing, and we’re looking for an Energy Consultant to join our Optimized Energy Solutions Team based in Sydney or Melbourne. In this pivotal role, you'll partner with customers to deliver innovative solutions for compressed air systems, helping businesses to reduce energy consumption and improve performance. Join a global leader benefit from job security and long-term career growth with a trusted, stable organization Unlock your potential: With access ongoing internal training and professional development programs What you’ll be doing: Designing and implementing tailored solutions for Air System audits, Central Controller solutions, Air Distribution System design, and Energy Transformation systems, ensuring accurate sizing and seamless integration in collaboration with technical support and audit teams. Auditing and reviewing reports, customizing findings, supporting complex presentations, and conducting pre-assessment site visits for major projects. Support customers with pre-commissioning guidance and collaborate with operations to schedule technicians and oversee training plans. Provide hands‑on training for technicians, troubleshoot and commission complex systems (including competitor units), and oversee Air Scan tool management and administration. What you'll bring: Trade or degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics, with 3–5 years’ industry experience (ideally in compressed air or pneumatics). Strong technical confidence with excellent analytical and data interpretation skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Mechanical or electrical background with a willingness to learn compressed air theory. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to engage audiences from operators to executives, and confident working independently while initiating customer contact.
