About the role As part of the energy team you will work alongside nationally recognised experts, contributing to high‑impact work – whether it's informing Australia’s clean energy transition or shaping the future of our energy markets. Key focus areas Asset usage and new asset development and economics (such as solar generation, wind generation, battery storage, pumped hydro, gas generation etc.) Impact of policy, regulation and market reform. Key risks to government, electricity users and suppliers. Future wholesale and retail electricity and gas prices. Who we’re looking for We are seeking early‑career consultants or graduates to join our growing Energy team and work on some of Australia’s most critical issues across energy, water, environment, earth resources, climate change, circular economy and social impact and regulation. Our ideal candidate is: Curious, analytical and passionate about problem solving that delivers value to the broader community and industry clients. A clear communicator who can connect with a range of audiences. Collaborative and enjoys learning and growing. Confident working with numbers – experience with financial and/or economic analysis or modelling is highly regarded. Early in their career (graduate or 1 to 3 years’ experience), with a degree or skills in a quantitative field such as economics, commerce or engineering or a related field.
