Genuine career progression on offer. Position Description Reporting to the Head of Legal Australia , you will work closely with other senior in-house counsel and business leaders across Australia, Asia and North America. This is a senior, hands‑on position that combines both strategic and transactional responsibilities and see you manage a small team. You will: draft and negotiate a variety of construction contracts (D&C, EPC, GC21, AS forms etc). Managing consultant agreements for design, engineering, acoustic, power, cooling and other specialist services. Advising on delays, extensions of time, variations, defects and operational performance matters. Supporting risk allocation, warranties, indemnities and security arrangements. Negotiating grid connection agreements , electricity supply arrangements, embedded network structures and renewable PPAs (where relevant). Advising on procurement strategy for critical equipment. Managing tender documentation and contract negotiations with major vendors. Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will bring: 10+ years’ post-qualification experience in construction and infrastructure law, gained within a leading law firm and/or major EPC or project delivery organisation. Strong technical construction and projects experience, ideally with exposure to energy and renewables. Proven ability to manage complex, multi-party transactions with a commercial and solutions-focused mindset. A collaborative and proactive approach, thriving in a lean and high-performing team. This role suits a lawyer who enjoys working closely with project teams and senior executives in a fast‑paced, global business environment. Additional Benefits Competitive remuneration package (upwards of $300,000 + super). Hybrid working arrangement (3 days in office). Premium Sydney CBD offices.
