Reporting to the Manager, you will be instrumental in coordinating a wide range of services that directly support the mission and strategic direction of the University of Queensland.Key responsibilities will include:**Team Leadership and Management*** Lead and manage a team of library staff to ensure the delivery of required outcomes, utilising the manager capabilities framework. This includes mentoring and supervising client experience staff and assisting with their training.**Service Delivery and Client Relationship Management*** Contribute to the provision of high-quality services to all clients across the library. You will be responsible for documenting and maintaining accurate records, statistics, and data entries within the library's client relationship management systems.**Operational Coordination and Project Contribution*** Coordinate and participate in university committees and library projects as required. You will also develop, publish, and maintain essential library documentation, including online content, to support consistent service delivery.# **About You*** Degree/qualifications and relevant work experience (or equivalent combination). You possess substantial experience in an academic, special, or research library, specifically in delivering a range of Library and/or Information Technology services.* Demonstrated experience in providing quality client services, preferably within an academic environment. You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, consult, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.* Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, and develop the capacity of a diverse team, utilizing excellent emotional intelligence to motivate and improve staff performance and contribute to an inclusive culture.* Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative, with a proven ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment. You must also be an excellent team player, working collaboratively with a positive and cooperative attitude.You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment, and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
