Evora Care Pty Ltd is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Alice Springs, NT. In this casual role, you will provide personalised care and support to individuals living with disabilities, helping them to live independently and achieve their goals. What you'll be doing Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. Facilitating social and recreational activities to promote community participation and improve quality of life. Advocating for client rights and ensuring their needs are met with empathy and dignity. Collaborating with the wider care team to develop and implement personalised support plans. Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures. What we're looking for Previous experience in a similar disability support or aged care role, preferably in a community-based setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Demonstrated commitment to person-centred care and a deep understanding of the unique needs of individuals with disabilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
