VPS4 HR Project Officer Location: Melbourne CBD – hybrid Salary: $62 – $70 per hour + super Contract until end of Jan 2026 About The Role Reporting to the Team Leader, Workforce & Capability, the successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and high‑paced team that provides HR advisory functions to support the Energy group. The position contributes to a broad range of projects and services to enable high‑quality workforce management and provides operational workforce services that enhance organisational capability. The Project Officer must be highly organised, solutions‑focused, and able to multitask across a diverse range of HR topics with a strong focus on customer service. Key Responsibilities Provide responsive advice to staff on a range of HR, recruitment, and employment‑related issues in line with policy and procedural requirements. Contribute to and support a broad range of projects and services to proactively manage workforce activities across the group. Draft a range of written material, reports, and briefs to support key projects, change management initiatives, and HR‑specific programs. Proactively consult with internal stakeholders to build relationships and support the development of practical solutions. Monitor and analyse workforce reporting to inform workforce planning activities. Identify and implement improvements to workforce processes and procedures. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in providing HR advice and/or leading recruitment initiatives. Experience in the implementation of HR projects. Demonstrated critical thinking and attention to detail to resolve issues and apply problem‑solving concepts in the right context. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including monitoring client satisfaction and constructively dealing with issues. Capability in drafting written material/briefs is highly regarded, including experience working on, reviewing, or starting briefs.
