Description The ROLE Oversee multiple workshops across Tasmania and Queensland. Lead, motivate and mentor Workshop Supervisors and technical teams. Ensure all workshops operate to high standards of safety compliance and customer satisfaction. Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs to maximise the efficiency and reliability of our fleet. Oversee KPIs budgets and productivity to improve cost effectiveness across all workshops. Key stakeholder engagement with a solid customer focused approach for both internal & external customers. Ensure commercial targets are within budget and identify commercial risks and opportunities. Promote and support a safety culture that effectively manages risks in line with company’s policies and procedures whilst achieving continuous improvement. About YOU Strong leadership and people management skills. Minimum 5 years experience in a senior leadership role within a workshop environment or related area. Ability to review data trends and drive performance improvements. Strong influencing negotiation and management skills including the ability to advocate change and win over resistance. Sound knowledge of plant and equipment typically associated with heavy industry applications. Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Exposure to a diverse range of mobile assets typically associated with the heavy mechanical industry. Relevant industry qualifications to provide support to the wider teams.
