Volunteer Opportunity: Spring Market Day Helpers Needed Lower King Community Association – Albany WA The Lower King Community Hall is seeking volunteers to help with their upcoming Spring Market Day. This lively local event will feature a variety of stalls including arts and crafts, bric‑a‑brac, books, fresh produce, and a classic sausage sizzle. Volunteer roles include: Set‑Up and Pack‑Down Crew: Assisting with the setup of tables, stalls, signage, and helping pack down at the end of the event. Tea & Coffee Station Attendants: Serving tea, coffee, and light refreshments to market visitors. BBQ Assistants: Helping cook and serve at the sausage sizzle. (Volunteers for this role must hold a current Food Safety Certificate.) Ideal volunteers will be: Friendly and reliable Comfortable working in a team environment Willing to lend a hand where needed (For BBQ roles) Certified in food safety Category: Community Services Commitment: One off - an event Type of Work: Food Preparation & Service, Fundraising & Events Time Required: A few hours of your time on the day would be great.
