Our Pastoral Care volunteers build trusted and meaningful relationships with our seniors, journeying alongside them to support their participation and wellbeing through pastoral and spiritual engagement. As a valued volunteer, this fulfilling role will see you assist our dedicated Chaplaincy team in providing person-centred care which meets the emotional, social and spiritual needs of our residents. Pastoral Care Helpers require active participation in, and recognition from, a church community with a willingness to operate within Bethanie's theological approach, founded in the teaching of Churches of Christ. With flexible hours, whatever time you can share is deeply appreciated and our supportive team will guide you in your volunteering journey. Job Details Category Seniors & Aged Care Commitment Regular - more than 6 months Time Required Flexible hours to suit Monday to Friday. We are seeking a minimum commitment of six months for this role. Training Volunteers undertake online Infection Control, NDIS Worker Orientation (if relevant for site) and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards training as well as an on-site induction prior to commencement.
