Share the journey with us Volunteer Bus Outing Helper's wanted Bethanie, Western Australia's leading not‑for‑profit aged care provider, has been warmly welcoming and caring for seniors for 70 years. This volunteer opportunity invites you to help make a meaningful difference by providing assistance to our staff and engaging socially with residents during bus outings. Our staff organise the trips; we just need your time, smile and willingness to help others. Our volunteers need to be physically fit, as you may be required to push residents in wheelchairs, sometimes over long distances. Your contribution helps maintain social interaction and physical activity, which is an essential part of our residents' day and the care we provide. Category: Seniors & Aged Care Commitment: Regular – more than 6 months Type of Work: Companionship & Social Support Driving & Transportation Seniors & Aged Care Time Required: Bethanie Joondanna – Tuesday mornings 9:30 am – 11:30 am Bethanie Subiaco – weekly on Tuesdays, fortnightly on Wednesdays 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, and/or Friday mornings Training: Volunteers undertake online Infection Control and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards training as well as an on‑site induction prior to commencement.
