Discover a career where care goes both ways Permanent Full-time Personal Care Assistant positions Various locations in NSW & QLD Annual salary minimum $76,515 Plus super Not-For-Profit values-based organisation We are looking for experienced & passionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a permanent full- time basis. As part of our dedicated team you will create a safe, home like environment for our residents and will be responsible for providing resident personal care including assisting with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, toileting, assisting with meals service, mobility, and social support; Providing a high standard of care that supports residents achieve maximum independence by meeting daily living and personal requirements within the care plan, and with consideration of individual preferences. Providing direct resident care including assisting with personal hygiene, showering, dressing and toileting Providing direct resident care in relation to assisting with meals service, mobility, and social support Providing general resident support including making resident beds, tidying their room, and offering companionship Preparing the resident dining rooms for meal service and cleaning away at the end of a meal service Assisting residents who wish to participate in leisure and lifestyle activities Promptly responding to resident call buttons for assistance Promptly reporting any changes in resident health status to the Registered Nurse on duty Enhancing the resident experience through building great relationships with residents and their family members and responding quickly to feedback Qualifications To be successful in this role you’ll need : Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) (or equivalent) Minimum 1 year experience as a Personal Care Assistant in a Residential Aged Care home Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents Excellent time-management and prioritization skills Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team Flexibility & the ability to adapt to change Willingness to obtain NDIS clearance. These are full-time positions, which include working shifts across weekdays and weekends with a minimum annual salary of $76,515 With services in more than 41 locations across New South Wales and South East Queensland,we have regional locations requiring PCAs. Forbes, Bathurst, Wentworth Falls, Orange, Tumut, Batehaven, Grafton, Coffs Harbour, Mayfield, Newcastle and Wagga Wagga are the priority areas. For some of these locations you will require your own car.
