Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cloud Security & Compliance Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our cloud security and compliance strategy, ensuring the protection of our clients' data and systems. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of our cloud security and compliance strategy. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions. Design, implement, and maintain security controls and processes to protect our clients' data and systems. Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting root‑cause analysis and implementing remediation measures. Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and continuously improve our security strategy. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Train and mentor team members on security best practices and procedures. Manage relationships with external security vendors and partners. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security and compliance, preferably in a lead or senior role. Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, best practices, and industry standards. Experience with cloud security tools and technologies such as IAM, SIEM, and vulnerability management. Familiarity with industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI‑DSS.
