About the role This role involves hands‑on and labour‑intensive tasks in the manufacturing, fabrication of precast concrete components. Working under the manager of the facility, you will play a crucial role in a team‑oriented environment, ensuring the efficient production of quality concrete products that meet specific project requirements and specifications. What you will do Allocate resources, including staff, materials, and equipment, to optimise production efficiency. Read and interpret written design drawings, sketches, and follow oral design instructions to carry out the manufacturing and fabrication of precast concrete components. This includes pouring, moulding, casting, and curing processes, following established procedures to ensure contractual agreements are fulfilled to high standards and safety guidelines. Operate various machinery and equipment such as concrete mixers, moulds, vibrating tables, overhead gantry cranes, and forklifts. Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes, ensuring services meet professional and industry standards. We are looking for an applicant who has Demonstrated experience in people management with outstanding communication and negotiation skills. Experience reading and interpreting design drawings. Demonstrated experience in quality control processes. Previous experience in a similar labour‑intensive role will be highly regarded. The ability to work in varied weather conditions and adapt to changing project requirements. Possess strong physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labour and manoeuvre heavy objects. Has knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) principles and practices. Has the ability to obtain / or provide a National Police Clearance and Working with Children card.
