About The Opportunity Join OKX's dynamic creative studio within our Brand Design team as our Art/Creative Director and help create world class design for our rapidly growing cryptocurrency exchange platform. Reporting to the APAC Brand Design Lead, your role is crucial in delivering compelling design work across various channels, including YouTube, social media, web, editorial content, education, branding, digital marketing, campaigns, and events. We are looking for a strong designer with a background in the development of creative materials from conception to production. You are skilled at bringing your creative vision to life, and mentoring junior teammates to help them bring their creative visions to life, too. This role can be based in either Singapore, Hong Kong or Sydney Australia. Please indicate your preferred location when applying. What You'll Be Doing: Be part of the development and execution of creative materials from briefing through concepting, executing, and production, with guidance from the creative director and Design Leads. Take ownership of higher priority projects and execute senior designer level work. Ensure design consistency and excellence across a variety of deliverables and brand touchpoints including visual product design, campaigns, web pages, event design, etc. Be an excellent cross-functional partner to a variety of global stakeholders. Creative Operations: Streamline production processes for efficiency. Maintain an Omni-channel approach within the marketing team (Content, Social Media, PR, Local Marketing, Product and Digital Media). Help define and evolve brand guidelines and asset requirements. Team and Relationship Management: Foster a positive and innovative team culture. Support team development and mentorship. Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams. What We Look For In You: 5+ years of experience in an in-house and/or agency role as an Art/Creative Director or Senior Brand Designer, working for global or regional brands and clients. Experience as a design generalist and providing creative direction & support across different creative fields such as branding, social media design, event design, motion design, etc. A strong portfolio that demonstrates your strategic, conceptual, and design skills through visually-compelling work. Mastery of design tools: Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop (After Effects is a plus). Experience in Generative AI is a huge bonus. Strong experience in using AI in creative processes and staying on track with the latest tools Strong creative problem-solving skills Mastery of composition, typography, color, aesthetics, visual and imagery Ability to meet tight deadlines & fast-paced environment. Passion for craft, branding, animation, and design is key. Nice to haves: Video and/or motion experience 3D experience Copywriting experience Crypto or FinTech background Mandarin speaking ability (not a must).
